FAQ

What is Clay Theory?

Clay Theory is a skincare brand built on clarity and intention. We create simple, effective clay masks made with minimal ingredients that work in harmony with your skin — no fillers, no overwhelm.

What skin type is the mask best for?

Our first formula was designed with oily and congested skin in mind. The bentonite clay deeply detoxifies, while matcha gently calms and balances. If your skin often feels shiny, clogged, or reactive — this mask was made for you.

How do I use the mask?

  1. Mix 1 teaspoon of powder with water (or your preferred liquid like rose water, honey, or yogurt).
  2. Apply an even layer to clean skin.
  3. Leave on for 8–10 minutes — before it fully dries, rinse off with warm water.
  4. Follow with a gentle moisturizer.

How often should I use it?

1–2 times per week is enough to see results without stripping the skin.

How many uses are in one jar?

Each 60g jar contains around 15–20 masks, depending on how much you use each time.

Can I customize it?

Yes. Because the formula is a pure powder, you can mix it with different liquids for added benefits. For example:

  • Rose water for hydration
  • Honey for soothing
  • Green tea for extra antioxidants

Is it safe for sensitive skin?

Our formula is minimal and free from synthetics. However, bentonite clay can feel strong on very delicate skin. We recommend patch testing first and removing the mask before it fully dries.

Is it vegan + cruelty-free?

Yes always. Clay Theory will never test on animals or include animal by-products.

How should I store it?

Keep the jar tightly sealed, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Since it’s a dry powder, it has a long shelf life without preservatives.

What makes Clay Theory different?

We believe skincare should feel like exhaling. That means fewer ingredients, intentional formulas, and seasonal drops so every jar feels special, not mass-produced.
